I need to find a good 35 mm camera.
My daughter is taking basic photography in college and can not use her digital.

Anyone know of a good place to get one used or new?

Check pawn shops. I needed one several years ago for a project and found them to be plentiful at the pawn shops. If she knows about the camera and its various parts it's even better so she can check it out thoroughly before buying. My other suggestion is Oceanside Photo and Telescope. They used to have used cameras that people traded in when upgrading.

We have a camera shop here in Escondido. They have a lot of cameras, I think new and used, refurbed. It is called Calumut..Calemut..something like that. It is next to Michaels and Barnes and Noble. The center off of the street where the Iceoplex off of Valley Parkway. Anyway, I went there with one of my Olympus cameras that they tried to fix. They sent it out for me and when the manufacturer couldn't fix it right, they gave me all of my money back. They were really nice and helpful.

Not sure about pricing though.

I have a 35mm Nokia Camera, in great condition. I say mine, but really it is my dad's. I have not used it since I was in college and took a photography course myself. I will ask him if he minds maybe selling it and see what sort of price he wants for it (we never use it now that we have digital cameras). It is maybe about 15 years old but in great condition, like I said I used it when I was in college and that was not too long ago and worked wonderfully.

Will hopefully be able to let you know sometime this weekend.
