I have bad varicoise veins in my right leg and ankle. The good news is the swelling is way down after 3 months and my leg doesn't ache anymore. Bad news....they look more prominent and visible. Kelly at Dr. C's said that was normal. I plan on seeing my vein doctor when I'm close to goal and seeing what kind of therapy can be done. I've done saline injections in the past and that helps them shrink down.

The same is true for me. I did not have any visible veins prior to my weight loss or weight gain (before obesity). And, now I have some plump ones. ???
