Default You All Are So Awesome!!

If you only knew how much this means to me :-)

My staff forgot, my kids forgot and still have not wished me a Happy Bday and it's 5:34pm :-(

My sweetie DID however email after his 12 hour shift in Iraq so that made my day SPECIAL :-)

It has been insane with football practive gear missing and other people trying to help get my kids to practice so i had to tell my son how to "break" in the house to find gear that we found out was in San Diego with his little brother, BUT we finally found a spare pair of practice pants in the garage but he's still late and going to get extra laps for that (poor baby!)....

NO cake so DOUBLE sadness falls ...LOL

I am very happy you all sent me glad tidings so THANK YOU 100 million times for being the BEST Support group around!!!!! MUAH!!!

Talking

hmmm.....well, not really.

I met up with the kids and got them from football practice but they were fighting with our neighbor and one coach saw and took their names to tell their coaches tomorrow so they will get extra laps..Oh Lord!
Then we got home and I had to clean out my company car I have had 3 1/2 years because today is my last day with it. I no longer "rate" one so I have to give it up tomorrow and take the Coaster home and hitch a ride from a friend to get home :-(
...More sadness falls...

Then I saw the kids had destroyed my bed and all my clean clothes were on the floor so we had discipline session and a big clean up to make me happy and then dinner, which I couldn't even eat.
Small outburst and then a session of "discipline" then off to bed. BIlls, bills, bills, and now I am here. They actually did forget my bday so they said they will make it up to me tomorrow.

I STILL want CAKE :-) Chocolate with buttercream icing would be so nice :-)

Albertson's sometimes sells 1 slice of cake. Go get a piece or some cupcakes and take a few bites. You deserve it. Or go get something neat for yourself...that is what I would do. I sometimes just treat myself. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

Default Awwww

Hon,
Haven't you heard that birthdays aren't just one day...in my world they last a WEEK! Celebration on the actual day is nice, but stretch it out and make it last! Besides, you now have emotional blackmail against your kids! That's a present in itself!

xoxo

Mini conversation...that is really the best gift you could ever wish for. Glad you and your sweetie were able to talk back and forth.

Sunshine, sorry I missed your day yesterday, but I'm with Rene -- a birthday should definitely last longer than just 1 day! Many happy returns!
