Well I did it!!! My surgery was on Tuesday.. all in all it went very well.
Pain is a little bit higher than I thought it would of been- I was kind of figuring it would of been similiar to getting a tubaligation..NOT
I am full of gas and air though - wish I could take a beano- maybe I will call the doctor and ask.

Got my surgery date. It is next Tuesday the
9th of December.

I am on my liquid diet...once again I feel excited to be on a diet..knowing it is the beginning of a great journey for me that WILL have the happily ever after ending.

Not nervous at all- (yet) ask me again next Tuesday around 5am

Received the call today- that my insurance has approved my surgery. Yippie!!!

Went to orientation again 10-08-08..... Now that my insurance will cover WLS. So excited!!!

Already sent off for approval to the insurance company on Friday.. just waiting to hear. Was told by doctors staff that once the approval comes in I could have surgery before the holidays. ...What a Christmas present that would be. Just crossing my fingers.

Been reading all the threads and absorbing all the advice.
