OT day

This is totally off topic but, something that I battle every year. 1/31/09 will be the 5th anniversary of my mothers death. 
Mom was an amazingly beautiful angel inside and out. Her strength, compassion, unconditional love, and understanding ment the world to me. Though I didn't tell her before she passed on.
The relationship between me and mom was not always golden but, there were definatly times when the road disappeared. Daddy always said it was because we were to much alike. If I could only be half the woman she was I'd be way ahead of the game.
Mom was only 54 when she passed after a 10 year battle with breast cancer. I beg of each and every one of you please please please do the exams, get checked, get the genetic testing done. Guys hound your special ladies to do this. Mom's teach your daughters no matter the age. A friend opened a "breast clinic" when we were stationed in 29 and my girls went thru it at 10 and 12.
I love and miss you so much mom. I wish you would have known your grand daughters but, I know you watch over us.
My first big goal: to do the Boston 3 day in honor of mom. MLM Wolf
