It's that time of year again

It's official fall has hit Burlington. The building that I work in has always had "issues" with wild life. Bats in the stairwells, deer and foxes running in the parking lot and our favorite "Pissed off Pete the turkey". There are lots of wild turkeys in this are and every fall the same one (I hope it's the same one) "Pissy Pete" comes back to the building.

Pete makes sure that the women in the building are getting their excercise as he chases them through the parking lot. Pete even flys. I had no idea that turkeys could fly.

Anyway, his grand entrance last year had him stuck in the revolving door for about 2 hours screaming his head off. Hopefully he won't make it into the building.

Anyone want wild turkey for Thanksgiving? Please come get Pete. I almost didn't get into the building and it's only going to get worse.

I would die! I once worked somewhere that had a fairly big mouse problem...I came to work one day and there was a substantial amount of mouse poop on my desk. I turned around and marched to my supervisor's desk and told him I was leaving (and certainly not using any of my PTO) and that I would be doing the same the next day if the problem wasn't taken care of. I found out about a month later that my supervisor came in early every day to clean my desk because he knew that it would take awhile for the problem to be taken care of and he didn't want to deal with me storming out every day! (I thought that was pretty funny!)
