Sclerotherapy post procedure....

Posted 07-04-2008 at 03:01 AM by SDeRossett
July 4, 2008

Finally have a date for the Sclerotherapy - August 15, 2008.

I have many random thoughts regarding this procedure. Should I just try to maintain? Should I try to lose some weight prior to the procedure so I don't have as much to lose? What am I really hoping the end results to be? I do want to lose to goal, and not to feel hungry all the time. If I do will I be able to maintain?

Will this truly help or am I just beatting a dead horse here? As my pouch is stretched out, I will still be able to eat larger quanities, but hopefully as the food should remain in the pouch longer, I will be able to feel like I have some controll again with my eatting. I hope.

Should I start, post and print this blog prior to going to the appointments for the Nutritionilist, exercise therapist etc.? So many thoughts. Will my husband support me in this or will he be critical of backslides? Hummm...?

I just found you and your blog. You are an inspiration!!! I am scheduled for sclerotherapy soon and after reading this entry felt like it was me talking. I have so..oo..oo many mixed emotions right now. I am so hoping this procedure can help me with this renewed hunger I am experiencing and a bit of weight gain. My original surgery was in 2002 and I had good success bit lately I've become fairly lax and it just really panics me. would love to hear back from you. Thanks, Peggy
