Had my surgeon's consultation yesterday.

First, the obligatory weigh-in. I did gain some weight. I am now 351 pounds. That is up 4 from my last nutritionist appointment.

I've been married to a wonderful man for eight years. I'm 62 years young. I have four children. One of them passed away in 2002 from heart failure due to drug abuse and juvenile diabetes . More on that later. My other three children (2 girls and a boy) all live in Southern Calif. I have been blessed with seven grandchildren. I love each one more than the others!!! I'm very proud to say that my children, their spouses and my grandchildren...

I had the MRI and the diagnosis was spinal stenosis, bulging discs and arthritis!!! I was expecting to hear that I had pulled a muscle!!!

I had the first series of "17 trigger injections" in my muscles last Weds. Not fun but worth it. I had a few days of relief. This Weds. I will have an epidural in my lower spine. I will be sedated and the needle will be guided by x-ray. I'm scared. Has anyone had this procedure that can assure me it works?

hi, guys
Today i went to my doctors appointment and to my disappointment i gained weight
i didnt loose any weight but i gained weight...which made me feel sad and disgusted with myself.
My doctor was so sweet she said not to sweat it just to relax and get up on the wagon again.
So if i had lost 11 pounds since i first visited her i regained it again and gained one more extra pound.
Not good!!!!!! i feel very disappointed with myself i thought i had willpower even...

It’s been a few weeks since I posted last…It has been a hard few weeks for me. Emotionally I feel like I have been on a roller coaster, with too many downs to count. I am sure my past history of depression/anxiety has had a part in the way this has gone because I can’t pin point any thing specific. This was the hardest Thanksgiving for me since moving – maybe it was the fact that my sister and her family went home this year and I was the only one not there, maybe it was just the upcoming changes...
