Things I can't wait to be able to do.....
So lately I've been thinking of things I can't wait to be able to do:
-HAVE A BABY!
-slide right into a booth at a restaurant without my husband having to move the table back
-go through a turnstile like regular people
-I want to be able to take a walk in shorts without having to pull the legs down every five damn steps because my mutten chop legs are rubbing too hard together
-buy pants or shorts and have them last longer instead of having to throw them out when the spot between my thighs gets too thin or just rips from the friction of my mutten chops
-fit into a regular chair with sides on it and not have it cut into my chunk
-walk through a restaurant without putting my big butt in folks faces or bumping them
-wear a bathing suit and not feel too self conscious about people staring at me
-ride a bike
-fit into airplane seats
-not have to have a seat belt extender on the plane as well
-be able to cross my damn legs without having to use my inner thigh muscles till they spasm to keep my mutten chop crossed
-paint or clip my toenails without my fat suffocating me when I try to bend down (oregoncora said it more eloquently..lol)
-be able to sit on the floor for a longer period of time without my damn legs falling asleep because my fat was stopping the circulation
-be able to pull my legs up under my chin...that would be lovely, I don't think I've ever been able to do that one
-not sweat my ass off from just walking down (yes, down) the stairs. I hate having to carry a hanky everywhere I go because I sweat so much.
-I want to be able to put on a pair pants without having to pull them up and over my muffin top (this might still be inevitable seeing as I have a long torso and short legs..just think baboon..lol)
-I want to be able to sit down and not have to worry constantly about pulling my shirt out from under my chunks
Here are a few more thanks to Baja's thread....
-Turning into one of those skinny bitches that is cold all the time...thank you Amandazon! I can't wait till I do that!
-Being able to get in a group photo up front instead of behind; hoping to hide some of my GIRTH
All in all, I mostly want to feel happier/better about myself. I've got a pretty good self esteem. My wonderful husband plays a BIG part in that role. BUT...I want to be able to go into a store and buy clothes from the REGULAR store and not a fat girl store. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Avenue and Lane Bryant but damn they're expensive! I'd settle for wearing a 12 or 14 man. Something besides having to pick through all the moo moos that look like a curtain they had in the back and cut some arm and head holes for.
I guess I can climb my big ass off this soap box for now... it's hot up here...until next time!

I can relate. Add to that a couple for me. Cut my toenails without struggling. For women, Being able to wipe your bottom reaching behind you instead of reaching through from the front. I remember losing weight once and thinking Wow! Like to do that again!

I live in Bad Toelz for 5 yearsHi rachairg When I read your profile I thought maybe you were military. My husband was Army Special Forces for 27 year and retired 5 years ago. I am to have my surgery on the 19 of Aug and really excited about it and a little scared to be honest. Enjoy Mannheim and travel if you can.

Wow!!!I loved reading this!!! I suppose we are all very similar in the things that we want to do, but this post just kind of hit me! My surgery is October 9th and I can't wait to start checking some of those things off of my list too!
It sounds like your husband is amazing...he sounds a lot like my fiance. I feel so lucky to have him in my life!!! I am like you in that I have a pretty healthy self esteem and think that I am pretty (in spite of my fat ass!)...I can't wait to see what we look like skinny!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
