It's official -- I'm no longer OBESE!!! 
What a milestone. Today I weighed in at 196, went and checked my BMI and WOO HOO! I'm officially in the "overweight" category now. Who would've thought that I'd be so happy to be called overweight, LOL! I really, seriously hate the word "obese." Ugh. And now, I'm no longer...that word. Now THAT is a WOW moment!
I'm so grateful every day for this surgery. It almost scares me to think about the looooong future I have ahead of me. The world is big and scary. Someday soon my body will adapt to my new digestive system and then it will all be up to me to live a normal life and...never, ever, EVER get obese again. Dang, man.
But for today, I'm ecstatic!

Hooray....I just stumbled across your blog this morning and became quite emotional reading it!! I felt your joy and triumph and thought how wonderful it must feel to of lost so much weight and now be an acceptable size, where people no longer regard us as 'different' ??
