no pics of me

I was reading others words on TT and have found a post that sombody said they have no pictures of them with their kids or family because of their weight.
I also am saddened, because I have found I'm in the same situation. I feel terrible because my daughter will not have pictures of us together because of my selfishness and embaressment to the camera.
She has seen me in my worst shape, size and form of my life issues. Yet she only has the images within her mind to remember us by. I never meant to be selfish, I only meant to be protective of my self and my pride.

I read this shortly after you posted this and realized that I had done the same thing. I can tell when in my life I started to really not like myself in pictures because that is when I stopped showing up in pictures. Each of my family members started our own blogs through a site a year ago and it wasn't until one of them asked me if I was still around that I realized I am never in the pictures. It has always been so easy to just say that I am the one taking the pictures but I know I how much I have hated to see myself. Over the last few weeks I made a point of making sure I handed over the camera to have pictures of me included.
