1 Month Post Op

Posted 06-08-2009 at 07:53 PM by MsSarahJ
Well technically I'm 29 days post up but when it's close to the month factor who really cares right? Lol.

Anyway except for the constant lethargy I have I actually feel completely back to normal.

So yesterday I decided I would have scrambled eggs for breaky (even though I still have to call the dietician and get her approval but whatever lol) so had 2 small eggs with milk and some cheese and it was soooooo good. It's weird you know, you don't realise your missing out on food til you have it again and then it's just OMG lol.

So I think I need to start having "naps" cuz I'm going to a concert next week and I'm more than likely gonna be up past midnight and at the moment the latest I've been up is like 11 and even then my eyes are glazed over and I feel like I'm gonna pass out from exhaustion lol.

Hmm so what else? Well usually I post blogs on the lapband website but I've been coming on here more so I figured I would do it on here.

So I still don't know exactly how much I've lost, I know when I was on the whole fluid diet i was definitely loosing but once I went onto mushies I know but my weightloss is at a standstill, I don't feel like I've gained just like it's stopped which is better than gaining I guess. So my first fill is scheduled for the 17th next week, not really nervous about that at all except for the fact that I hear the needle is pretty long - But I'm used to needles so hopefully it won't be too bad.

So I've also noticed some little changes since having surgery. (oh and in case people don't realise I had the lapband lol) Things like I feel like I'm actually breathing easier which is huge for me. I've gone thru 11 years of having lung problems and the fact that it's a little bit easier to breathe is just amazing to me. I don't care how long it takes but the more I loose the more I'll be able to breathe easier and for me that is the biggest pro of this entire thing. Some other little things are that I've noticed my face looks a little slimmer (one less chin if you will) and my thighs are a little bit slimmer as well which is great.

So what else? Umm I'm freezing my ass off here for one lol. It's officially winter here and I live in the one place of the world where winter here is completely mild compaired to other parts of the world and I'm freezing lol. I don't think I'm ever going to be able to live somewhere that snows which sucks cuz I've always wanted to.

That's really it - I blog for boredom so don't be suprised if you're bored with my blog lol. Thanks

Sarah
