New Beginnings...........
a small bit about me.

So I think I'll just jump in here and give a bit of background.. to start off with here. I've never done a blog and I'm really kind of clueless but if I screw up, hopefully someone will be kind when they let me know.
I'm 48 y/o, had Lap RNY on 1/29/08 in Boston, MA.
I'm not losing weight anywhere near as fast as many here and that has been a continued source of frustration and causing more tears than I care to admit, sadly.
I'm currently a divorced mother of two college students (ouch$$) who have just been such a trip to raise... I'm really loving the 'adult' interactions with them these days.. lots of fun there :-)
I'm engaged to the single most loving man I've ever had the pleasure of meeting- lucky mee!!!- I'm thrilled that my two kids love him as much as they do, given their experiences with their other parent & SP.. lets just say that hasn't gone well and leave it at that!
Our wedding is currently scheduled for Oct 11th of this year. I'm kind of wishing it wasn't coming so soon now, given how slow my weight loss has been. I was really hoping that I'd be in a healthier and fitter place than it appears I'll be at that point but it is what it is..
Well, I guess that's enough for one post... I have no idea how this will end up looking

Well to be honest i have never done a blog either.... what does "BLOG" mean anyway? lol..... but as far as I know yours is just fine... Today is my first day here on TT and its a slow learning process, but I will get it soon.... Nice to meet you happy you are happy.. As far as the adult relationship with your kids, I too have 2 adult daughters, and I love our relationship. So different than me and my mothers relationship, even still my mother and I can not talk the way me and my girls can. Well anyway, better stop yappin your eyezzzzz out lol.... ttyl Judy
