Time marches on...

So yesterday I picked up a C-Pap machine to help with the sleep apnea. Not a proud moment if you know what I mean. Having this lady go over this machine with me, all I could think of was, "seems rather pathetic that I'm unable to sleep correctly and must wear this frightening mask. I wonder what my kids and wife are going to think?"

Last night I tried it out. Luckily it doesn't make much noise, but the wife is such a light sleeper she said it did keep her up. That's not good. She suffers from not enough sleep anyway with the 3 kids we have. Does this mean we'll have to sleep in different rooms, just so she can get some sleep?

The surgeon's office called about a week ago and I have an appointment with the Doc on June 24. I hope it goes well. I'm anxious to get this surgery done. Tired of being so overweight and helpless.

I traveled to Alaska last week and travelling on an airplane while overweight is a royal pain. I haven't been on a plane in awhile and goodness, did the seats shrink or am I really that wide? Not to mention I was rather uncomfortable. Just so tired of not being able to do things because of my size/weight.

Hopefully I can get a surgery date for sometime in July.

Until next time.. cheerio.
