Day two... paperwork and more paperwork

And the paperwork continued for today. Since they have to satisfy the Federal Aviation Administration's standards, it's an interesting combination of "hurry up" and "wait!" No biggie. Out of 18 of us, only one is annoying, and I'm waiting for Mabel (older than me, and suffers NO nonsense) to take her to task. I'm betting on Mabel to last until about Wednesday next week before she breaks.

Today was also health, dental, life and vision insurances, drug and alcohol policies. The rule is there must be "12 hours between bottle and throttle," which isn't a problem for me. I seldom drink anymore. None of my prescriptions seem to be a problem, so I'm not going to worry about that...

The first test is Monday, so I've got two more days to study... not a problem, either. I think I'm going to like this, and I hope I'm going to excel. And this is the first time I've been in a group of people who didn't know that I had a gastric bypass. I don't want it to color anything. I want to be this person--this size 8/10 woman who is changing careers...not changing my size. Make sense?
