1 1/2 mnths post-op of gastric bypass, but ..Pregnant?

Hey ladies,
How are you all? I was wondering if anyone could help me. I had the RnY on May 28th, 2008, and I have a slight little oops that occured, and I could possibly be pregnant. This can't be too healthy for the baby, if there is one, is it? I mean my hubby and I are happy, we have already decided on names.. how silly right?.. exspecially since it was so long ago when I thought I was a few months back, and got extrmely happy! But what if I really am? I know we can handle it without a doubt, but what about the baby?? Are there any tips for me? I don't even know if I am sick because there could be a baby, or I am sick because I am nervous, or maybe I am still having trouble with everything, which I am sure is definately part of it. But where do I start?? I have an appointment with my surgery on the 18th, and I am waiting for my obgyn's office to call me back with a scheduled appointment date. But now what? please help. I know I sound like a basket case, but I don't believe in aborting the child since my miscarriage a few years ago when I was even younger and stupider.. but I am just scared. Not for me, I could really almost careless about me, but more for the baby, if my little princess happens to be there.. :-)

Hi there. First of all, don't panic. I see you actually posted this a couple of weeks ago, so perhaps you already got the advice you need. I did want to point you towards the area of this Forum devoted to Pregnancy issues. Recently, a woman posted about how it turned out she was pregnant while she had the RNY done!! And so far she's doing fine, I believe. So I would suggest that besides talking to your OBGYN and finding out for sure first, then talking to your surgeon. Good luck!
