One week to RNY

Wow I am really nervous everyone is so supportive even with that I want to run and hide. This has been a hard desision for me. I have been thinking about it for 2 years all the time thinking I can do this my self why can't I do this my self why do I have to have my stomach cut off. Well the reason is beyond my knowledge it is time to move forward get healthy for my children and grandchildren and mostly for my self.

Yes, exactly! I worry about the same things! Why do I need to mutilate my own digestive system? Well, that isn't an answer that comes quickly...or even at all. I get bits and flashes of insight, but in the end this has overall been a wonderful decision that I made to have this surgery. Best of luck to you!

Good luck, Karrie! Hang in there and keep your head up! There are some tough times ahead, but I'm sure you'll do just fine! .. I'm three weeks post-op this Tues! It's been a dramatic change .. physically and mentally, in such a short period of time! But with the support of the people around me, I've done awesome. I'll be thinking of and hoping the best for you!
