I think I used to have Enthusiasm... it seems like I did once. But it's been so long that I can't remember. When you avoid looking at yourself in the mirror or otherwise- how can you possibly look at the wonders of the world around you or the amazing people in it with Enthusiasm? Even those wonderful creatures we created within our own body, don't stir Enthusiasm like they should. It's been stolen and replaced by a mysterious stranger that holds the scales in one hand and a Krispy Kreme donut in...

I sent in my final pages of paperwork in to my surgeon today. Hopefully they'll get them sent in to my insurance ASAP and I'll get a surgery date soon. I wanted to do this before the end of the year. So I could start the new year off on the right foot- so to speak.

I know that this surgery isn't a surgery to be taken lightly- none are really. But this is serious business. Our health is the one thing that we can never get back once it's gone... and can't live without...
