I know I should be patient.

I am becoming discouraged. I have done a complete over haul on my lifestyle. I eat under 1000 calories a day, I take all my vitamins, I get all my protein, and I have more than doubled my normal physical activity. Yet, I still weigh the exact same as I did when I left the hospital two weeks ago. I'm starting to feel like a failure, and I know I should be patient. But I worked really hard these last few years to make this surgery happen, and now I'm wondering if it was worth it.
Is there anyone else that is farther along post-op that felt this way at first?

I would'nt be discouraged JEveland, I think there are others who have had a similar experience. I do think though you should throw this question out to the wider forum. Post maybe as a new thread.
Good luck |

Ok lets see if I can help you. If you go to the home page or New Posts at the top of the page, in the right hand colum you should a number of different forums, i.e social, vertical sleeve, recipes, gastric bypass etc.
Choose a forum (click) once this opens you should see a list of threads (different topics). At the top or the bottom of the page you should see an orange heading - NEW ThREAD, click this and you are now able to post your question. Make sure you give it an Topic Heading so it can be noticed in the new thread. if you want to respond to any of the threads you just click the thread, and again at the bottom or the top it will say POST. Good luck, hope to see you posting soon. Hyacinth |
