Nearly two weeks ago my file was on the desk of the woman in charge of sending it off to the insurance company for approval (or heaven forbid, denial). I recently posted a comment on a newbies page telling her that her decision for gastric/lap band was a personal decision and that ONLY see could be the one to decide which would be best for her, and instead of praise, or no comment at all, I got a snide remark on how I should have listened to my PCP about why I should choose gastric and not lap band.

Today was the last day of my pre-op appointments. I went to see the Dietician on Tuesday and learned nothing new. He didnt tell me anything that I already didnt know....however, it made me feel horrible for knowing what I should be doing, but not doing it.

Although it has been less than two months since I started this whole process, it has seemed much longer.
