A few observances

Posted 05-02-2008 at 07:08 PM by Godsblessedme
Well i just dont understand why i'm not loosing like a crackhead smokes crack! I really have been in my current stall for like 3 weeks now. I think i dropped a pound but thats questionable because of different days i weigh myself. I see so many succeeding better than i and i just get dissappointed. Even my own dad was telling me about his 600 pound buddy that had surgery 3months ago has lost well over 100 pounds. DUH whatever dad! My dad said when they come back in October he wants to see me down to 150 pounds. Um yeah again whatever!!! thats like another 67 pounds and at my current rate that WONT be happening. My stupid hips and butt are still big because my 24's skirts still fit
what is wrong with me! darn it. i'm disgusted but i really am still thinking positive but Sunday my mother is getting my scale since i just cant function normally when its in the house. Does anyone but me have that sick obsession?

Love the reference to not losing like a crackhead smokes crack! You've got a great sense of humor...or a sarcastic wit as everyone tell me!

And I weigh EVERY morning too! But only take the Monday morning weight as the "official weight".

I know how you feel, I lost weight my 1st 2 weeks after surgury and stalled for 3 weeks. Then I lost for 2 days 9 lbs. in 2 days, now it's been 3 weeks again and no weight lose again. I have been losing inches which is great. But not seeing the scale move for weeks on end is very upsetting. I sometimes think that I will be the only person in the world that this surgury will not work on. I only weigh myself once a week. Last week I gained 7 lbs. now how in the world can you gain weigh when I'm doing what I'm suppose to??
I feel your pain and you are not the only one I'm doing the same.

Don't get discouraged. You have to remember the bigger people (like myself) tend to loose faster in the begining but once they have lost their first 100 pounds or so it becomes a struggle. Every body is different so every body will react differently to different things. Don't be discouraged, remember you are probably losing inches which is far better than the weight because maybe you are building muscle (if you are working out). Either way lift your head up and look at what you've accomplished this far. You are amazing and you will continue to do amazing things. Don't let other people get you down. All you can do is your best and the rest shall follow. Good job!
