This is my blog diary of my weight loss journey.

The reason I named it "Driving Sideways" is after the Aimee Mann song, "Driving Sideways." I like all kinds of music but the lyrics in this song in particular always made me envision being in a car. "Thin Everleigh" driving and "Fat Everleigh" reclined in the passenger seat.

I've always felt like a thin person underneath the weight.. the thin Everleigh I was supposed to be. I allow my fat unhealthy Everleigh sit back and do nothing and continue to guide me wrong (while assuming no responsibility for where I end up.)

I'm trying to drop off Fat Everleigh at her destination and continue down the road with just the thin me driving the car and making decisions.

About two weeks ago I started feeling sore in my arm pits. As if I had been lifting a lot of heavy things or something is the only way I could describe it. Hallelujah!!! I wanna be great without trying so hard.. Posted 12-23-2009 at 10:45 PM by everleigh Tonight I'm staying up late like so many of us housewives.. deep cleaning & prepping what I can for the next two days of festivities. I am currently supposed to be working on my Master bedroom & bath but turned on the tv & checked thinnertimes from my phone real quick. On cable is 'Confessions of a Shopaholic.' Perfect background movie to have on while I wipe baseboards & put away laundry. Isla is fantastic in the movie (even if the movie itself wasn't necessarily 'fantastic.')... Fat Propaganda Posted 12-22-2009 at 11:46 PM by everleigh As I'm typing this right now I'm watching tonights episode of Entertainment Tonight where they are showing tryouts for the latest season of 'Dance your A** off.' It is pretty sad. Normally it takes a lot to get me offended by something (I think anyway) but this whole show is starting to bother me. The people trying to get on look absolutely foolish & there's just something MORE wrong about someone who is publicly ridiculed anyway being ridiculed even more. March??? Posted 12-19-2009 at 10:44 PM by everleigh I went and visited Hailey, that friend I sort of know not all that well that got her sleeve done this past Wednesday. I brought her the little post op care package of goodies & stuff recommended here from people on tt. She loved it! Thanks TT! She looked remarkably well! Said she didn't take any pain meds post op & with the exception of being really tired, she felt good! She isn't hungry & said it hasn't been hard to stick to what she's supposed to do.
