I started my Journey nine months ago and in less then a week I will be on the losing side. Just so I can go back and remember I am going to Journal everything.
November 27,2006 First meeting with the surgeon. My mom and my husband went with me. He did an exam of my stomache and checked my Hernia. Was told of the risks and told about the Journey. Was told appointments would be once a month starting after the Holidays.
January 3,2007 Saw the surgeon again nothing changed except I lost ten pounds.
January 8, I had my sleep clinic first appointment Found out there was athree month waiting periode for spending the night in th hospital.
January 15, Saw the psych she said I was a good candidate for the surgery.
Febuary 7, saw the surgeon addded on three pounds and got a good ol fashion talking to.
Febuary 16, Saw the dietician she told about what foods I could have after surgery.
March 14, Saw the surgeon and lost 5 pounds. He was going to send in for my refferal.
March 20 sleep clinic spent the night in the hospital.
