I've been approved!

Well, had my appointment with the nutritionist and then talked with the nurse coordinator and my insurance has approved everything. My only out-of-pocket expense is that my insurance has a deductible of $500 per day in-hospital stay for the first 5 days. So, my max would be $2500 for the surgery, if I were to stay the five days or longer. However, I have been told that most people stay 3 days. By the way, for anyone wondering, my insurance is Western Health Advantage.

So, I have my consultation with my doctor on February 13 and then they will schedule the surgery in March. Yahooooo!!! That works out perfectly for me because I have an audit going on starting next week (such fun) and then my hubby will be gone for a week in February to attend a racquetball tournament in Arizona.

The only thing disconcerting this week was when I went to the nutritionist, she took measurements. There was only a 1 1/2 inch difference between my hips and belly. I am, literally, a ball! I am sooooo looking forward to watching my belly shrink.
