Well, I've finally got my surgery date and it's April 1st. When they first called, I had a momentary moment of panic and then the excitement and relief hit. Now, I'm just ready for it to be over and to get on with life. I feel like everythings on hold right now until my surgery is finished. Spring time is always when I try to go out and buy some cute new things but I don't want to buy anything because nothing will fit in a couple of months. But, by this time next year, watch out world!! ha

Well, had my appointment with the nutritionist and then talked with the nurse coordinator and my insurance has approved everything. My only out-of-pocket expense is that my insurance has a deductible of $500 per day in-hospital stay for the first 5 days. So, my max would be $2500 for the surgery, if I were to stay the five days or longer. However, I have been told that most people stay 3 days. By the way, for anyone wondering, my insurance is Western Health Advantage.
