Hello to everyone. I feel honored to have found all you guys here on this site. It helps to calm my nerves by answering so many questions I have in my head. I've thought about doing this surgery for 3 years. I went from 232 to 351 pounds and now not able to work, waiting to decide what to do because I was so scared that I would die and my children would loose me. This year is my year. By finding on here so many people that have walked in my shoes and have been successful I now know that I can do this. At 351 pounds I can hardly walk. Im having to use a wheelchair to go shopping for my kids school supplies. Im so embarressed for my kids friends to see me. Unable to work in the Emergency Room, I feel like my life has no meaning. I love helping people and making a difference in others lives. I know now that it is my turn to help myself so that I can continue helping others. I want my life back.

2. Complete patient info packet. March, 2008
3. Verify insurance coverage. March, 2008
4. Packet reviewed by staff. April, 2008
5. Phone interview with Dietitian. June 11 2008
6. Psychologist Interview and evaluation. June 10 2008
7. Attend Mandatory Nutrition Class. July 15 2008
8. Attend support group meeting. July 15 2008
9. Surgeon interview and evaluation. July 16 2008
Now We Wait On The Insurance to approve !
* Records and request for surgey sent to insurance company Aug. 1, 2008.
10. Get Insurance approval. Aug. 4, 2008
11. Scheduling the Pre-op Aug. 27, 2008
