Taking the pre op pics and measurements

I was so excited abou taking these pics. However, when it was all said and done, if it weren't for knowing this surgery was scheduled, I would have cried myself to sleep. I couldn't believe how big I have allowed myself to get. I am always the person who grabs my nephew to be in any picture with me, so that I can hide behind him. And in these pics, there is no camoflaging my weight. It's so bad that I don't want to even post a pre-op pic on this forum until I have a 3 month post-op pic to put with it! And everyone here is supportive! No wonder I don't want to put on make-up or fix my hair anymore. It was totally depressing.

And measurements...when I was on diet drugs or working out with a trainer, I weighed and measured myself compulsively. But, for the past 3 years, life has been pretty rough, so I haven't. And again, it is just startling how out of control I have gotten.

Oh, I know, I'm about to be on the downward spiral. But, uugghh! It is just so eye opening.

I kept the measurements, but since I don't own a digital camera, my sister took my pics with hers. (No, no camera. When your single and big, you can get away without owning one. God knows I didn't want any pics of myself!) So, my sister is going to send me the pics. I told her to be sure they aren't left on a desktop by mistake! They are frightening!
