So, what happenend to me?

The weather was lovely today. I decided to run an evening errand. I got in my freshly scrubbed car, put on my sunglasses, and proceeded to cruise (as cooly as one can cruise in a 4 door sedan) to Turkey Creek to do a little shopping. I cranked up some music and just drove. On the way home, I was reminded of all those times when I owned the Miata and just cruised around. I was not tiny then, but I was certainly sassy. I was a voluptuous, vampy little thing. Now, I see a middle aged, frumpy unkept woman. What the hell happened to me?? What was vibrant has become faded. I can't believe the person I have become. Did the purchase of a sedan lead to this downfall? Well, I seriously doubt it was the ACTUAL purchase, but I did have a big change in attitude when I purchase the Mazda 6. I was going from sassy and single to married and mediocre. I was going to actual become an adult and lead an adult life, you know married with kids. Somewhere along the way, gaining the last 30 pounds came with the car.

My shopping spree also revealed another aspect of myself. I LOVE DRESSES! Cute little dresses, fun dresses. Am I too old for cute dresses?! Gosh, I hope not. I bought one today! Since Rosebud won't be ready for a while, I bought one that should fit in just a couple of months. It was expensive, so kissing it good bye won't be painful for me or the pocketbook. Nevertheless, it will be a cute dress to flirt in.

I told myself today that when I reach Century Club, I'm going to buy a Miata again. I'm going to go to the CarMax website right now!
