I thought having to wait an entire week waiting for the doctors rooms to schedule my appointments was torture... until I received it and saw I have to wait another 4 months to actually see the surgeon! I have been driving myself nuts and can see myself getting a brand spanking new ulcer waiting this long... did I mention I am very impatient on a good day???!!!
(Psychologist evaluations still need to be scheduled)
So I see the nutritionist first - 12 Feb 2008
Surgeon visit withGastroscopy, pH test & Sonar 25 March 2008
Follow up consultation - 26 March 2008 (can now apply for insurance coverage)
nutritionist - 26 March 2008
nutritionist - 22 April 2008
Sonar and Lap RNY!!!!! - Tues 6 May 2008
and then post ops....
I know when you look back at something it seems like time flies, but man oh man, when you're waiting.... its torture. I just want to start my new life now!!

It helps to focus on what the nutritionist says. Mine was kind of soft spoken, and thinking of all her diet rules made me sleepy and forget about the waiting. lol BTW, I gained 20 pounds while working with my dietician. Good luck with yours. Katie
