This is the new beginning of my life. New sizes, new adventures, new attitudes about food and people and even myself.

Yea!!! At Doc's yesterday I was 248!!! I haven't been this lite since B.C. (Before Children)
And I'm feeling pretty good. This is the first day of the new semester, and I have a jillion students. Okay, 65 or so. Still, that's a lot for this classroom, built for 16 per class. Oh, here comes 4th period. yippee.

Today I go to see Dr. This is supposed to be my one-month follow-up, but it's actually been 6 weeks since surgery. When I saw the "plan" Dr. on Monday, I weighed 256. Frustrating that on my scale it says 240. So, I'm going to wear very LIGHT clothes today, even tho it's chilly outside. We'll see. I am able to tolerate some solid foods when I chew-chew-chew, but I'm eating so little now that I don't see why I'm not losing faster. I'm just glad the scale doesn't say 280 anymore!!!

How the heck do you get this thing to work?

Okay, I'm hoping that this works.
Today is a pretty good day. I stepped on the scale and it said 240. That's 40 pounds I've lost-- but I wonder how accurate the thing is?
The girls are doing pretty good in class today. We've got to review for their finals. I made it a 200 question test, and they're all having cows. Oh, well. Gotta separate the wheat from the chaff.
