I'm not sure what's wrong with me... for a while I've been extremely happy, nothing's getting me down! Well until now... I'm not sure why either. I have absolutely nothing to be unhappy about!! Saturday I finished my personality test for the psychologist and he said he'll have his stuff turned in by next week and hopefully they get things done for me by Thanksgiving. Awesome!! I wasn't even freaked out to go back to him this time... so why am I sad? Although I suppose that it could just be that...

Went to two gastric bypass meetings this week. Did alot better with my eating today. Baby steps. I'm excited for Cheryl , she has her surgery monday. Cannot wait to see her at the next meeting. She will be a little less than a month out. I actually at breakfast and lunch today, which was different. no diet soda so far today. Just crystal light and ice water. i did steal some of the pizza meat as i was making it tonight but that might be all i eat. we will see. gonna try real hard for no snack before...

Wow, I just looked and it has been a few months since I blogged anything, guess I am slacking! Here I am 10 months post-op and very happy to report I am doing wonderful! I am down 110 pounds since my high on 8/19/08. I would have never in 100 years thought if you asked me earlier last year if I would lose over 100 pounds in 1 year! I feel so good and the energy is so freaking wonderful I can hardly contain myself! I am still on a half pill for BP but hope to be off that soon. I got to wear heels...

It's been a popular question lately. Should I look into to plastic surgery for my middle or not. My best guess, is that I have about 5 - 7 lbs of skin and fat around my middle. I am sure not comfortable with my body clothed and naked is even worse. I don't want my DH to look of touch me... But how can I afford the cost of surgery? Ball parking the cost at $6,000 - $8,000 for the lower body lift + additional money for the 4 - 6 weeks recovery and being out on disability. That's a whole lot of money...
