Well I thought this day would never come, but i go in for my surgery tomorrow. I am so excited but scared at the same time.

ok- where to begin- well, things are still going good with the weight loss- though as to be expected it has slowed down some because I am now almost 16 months out. I GRADUATED FROM GRAD SCHOOL!!!! yay! I cried that whole weekend because its been such a crazy couple of years and to end it the way I did and to graduate with honors was amazing I am thinking about going to apply to the University of Penn so I can get my PhD. So I decided that I'm going to start a blog. I think I'm more apt to sit here and type than to pull out my journal. Also, carrying my journal with me scares me because I always feel like someone is going to find it or I will leave it somewhere.

I had my one week post- op appt today and my Dr. said I'm doing really good. I am still having some back pain but am off of the prescription meds and taking just some liquid tylenol at night.

I go back to work in 2 days...
