You were probably feeling dizzy because the decrease of calories and possibly low blood sugar. I was on a special bariatric product for 2 weeks before surgery. There were some protein bars, chili and soy nuts but it was promarily liquid. I had the same problem with feeling dizzy. I won't lie to you, I did cheat a couple of times. I would just suggest that if you need to have something to eat that it be something healthy. I'm not sure what you doctor has to say, but mine was extremely strict about any weight gain before surgery. He was very clear that if I didn't lose during the 2 weeks before surgery he would be cancelling my surgery. I can tell you, that was motivation enough for me to curtail the cheating. Good luck on the liquid diet. I know it's hard but is so worth it in the end.
