Default Can you eat soup?

I had a rough day yesterday and wondering if maybe it was soup that started all my problems.

I made a homemade beef barley soup with vegetables. It was a broth soup.

What I wonder is...........I vomitted the soup not once, but 2 times.

With my eating habits, I have to make sure to separate the food eating from liquids (1 hour prior and at least 30 min after) to ensure that I don't feel nauseated or vomit....so back to the soup....

So the soup is a combination of liquid and solids. Do you think this could have caused the vomitting?

Can you tolerate soups with broth and solids?
