My favorites were egg drop soup, eggs, oatmeal, chicken (many have trouble with it), cottage cheese, low carb yogurt, mashed potatos, soups, alsa and spaghetti sauce on anything, and cheese. Good luck...........just listen to your body. As you know, everyone tolerates different things. I have trouble with fried food, long spaghetti (other shapes are fine, must be a chew thing.....all them little pieces as you try and chew it), and anything I don't chew well enough or try and eat too fast. Some have trouble with chicken and fruit......so eat it slow, chew well, and see how it sits. Good luck!
