As far as the gym goes, take it easy at first. If you feel up to it, go walking on the treadmill. Don't over do it though. As far as lifting weights, that all depends on you. Basically Dr. Callery says if it hurts, don't do it. So I stick to that rule. I am 7 months out and can do about anything now. I still have some residual pain in my incision site, but it is more annoying than painful. I know you are anxious, but remember you just had major surgery. Get plenty of rest as well. It will help you heal faster. Get on the treadmill but I would not do anything else for at least 4 weeks. Thats just my 2 cents.

Good luck to you!!!
