Also nuts, but be careful of fat and calories........soy nuts are great......less fat and more protein! I found the power crunch bars to not be quite as nasty, although they aren't as high in protein as most (about 14 g, which is probably why they are more tolerable). The other thing I do is carry a baggy with dry milk and add it to hot tea (or coffee if you drink it). I like mine light, so I can get in a decent amount of protein that way......and dairy while I'm at it. My BF always makes jokes about me drinking "crack" tea cause of my little baggies. There are also some recipes to season and bake chick peas. If you had a little cooler, boiled eggs would be easy to snack.
