3 1/2 mo post op
I have had extraordinary success and not 1 complication and I have not dumped. This may sound really off the wall, but Im afraid Im gonna screw up because of this. I had my sx Nov 7, '06, and I have lost 68 lbs so far and inches are dropping like crazy. Im so proud of myself! I know that if its not broken it does not need fixed and yet Im afraid this is just too easy and somethings gotta give here. I just started losing hair, so I doubled up on the optisource. I have a weird schedule and sometimes snacks just dont happen and thats where I am having a problem with not getting enough protien. Im just having a hard time coming up with ideas on keeping to a schedule of food.
B fast, lunch and dinner work out, its those inbetween times, besides the nasty protien bars, what is easily portable? I keep beef jerky handy in the house and car, but sometimes I am just not in the mood to chew all that. I stay so far away from sugar I havent had to take insulin since the day of surgery, and I keep it under 3g of fat. What is out there? Everything that says "healthy" on it is usually not so healthy afterall.
I need help. My husband and I locksmith in the evenings and I rarely get to support groups. My family and friends are extremely supportive, but I need more help than that, I need fellow by pass patients to help with some of the weird questions and feelings.
I have not posted here before, but poked around a little bit. So I send you a big hello and wish you a great day
