First of all welcome to the board, Stephanie. We are happy to have you here!

I am 6 weeks out and from 4-6 weeks I was allowed creamed soups, cottage cheese, SF yogurt, eggs, soft cooked vegetables, SF applesauce, oatmeal, grits, lean meats (starting with thin deli meats), fish, LF cheese, mashed or soft potatoes, and LF milk. That's pretty much the extent of it. I should be adding more after my appointment with the nutritionist tomorrow but I'm not sure what that will be at this point.

It really sounds as if you are doing things right, at least according to what my surgeon specifies.
