Miss Marty Pants!
If you are continuing to lose after your 6 month mark, I would say that you will continue to lose 4-5 pounds a month up to the first year.
I had a friend who went ot her 9 month post op with her surgeon once and they asked her if she was okay with her current weight and size. At the time I believe she was a 12/14 and she said absolutely, I feel beter, etc., etc. She said if she would have stopped losing weight at that time she would still be very pleased with her results.... but after she thought about it after her appointment she realized that she could have been doing more to contribute more weightloss. She started working out 6 days a week! Yes 6 and in 5-6 monthswas down to svelte size 2!!!! Can you believe it?
Now Marty I dont know if a 2 is your reality, its not mine. A solid 8 is all I would allow myself to go. Why? When I look in the mirror I have a hard time with the refelction staring back at me, sone days I seriously feel like the crypt keeper, or Maria Shriver or Van Goughs SCREAM.. my face is GAUNT at a size 8/10 already! Right now, I am the smallest any person has ever been in my biological family, so right now I think Im perfect and 100% success! The "prefect" numbers tell the world that I only lost 70% of my extra weight.. which i myeyes and anyone else who knows me eyes is absurd.
Determing your goal is crucial for maintenance, so define what this to you and dont stray from it. By straying i mean, dont say, " okay size 6 or 160 pounds are my golal" If you chose the number, only let it fuctuate by 1=5 pounds. If you grow out of that 6 dont justify it by saying, "well this size 8/10/12 whatever is alot better than wearing a size 26/28!" Everyone knows that it is, but you have to determine your goal to start your maintenance process.
Does that make sense to ya lovley lady? Your goal cant be, if I stopppd today this would be okay. Determine your destiny and make it happen!
(( HUGS ))

"People will argue with you that getting what you want in life isn’t something you can learn, if you’re destined to be one of the worlds winners as opposed to one of its perpetual whiners, its because you have been born with the right talents and temperament and have a big dose of self-esteem, ambition, and good judgment."
