stuck in a rut.... HELP!
Hi all...
after 2 years of being at a fairly level weight, (4.5 years out) I started to gain a few extra pounds. (5 at first then 5 more) My lifestyle had not changed that much, however, I have never been good at exercising. I think I may have hit that time in life when a womans body starts to change. Those few pounds turned into 10 more. (thats 20 if your keeping score!) I worked hard and lost 10 of them. I still have the additional 10 that I can't seem to conquer. I am frustrated, and mad at myself, and I can't seem to get motivated in the right way. I need help... I need a buddy! I say to myself I would like to walk, or swim, or go to the gym.... if only I could do it with someone....ANYONE! I guess I should be more self-motivated to do it by myself... but so far, I have done it ALL by myself! I am tired of doing it alone. Do I sound absurd? I hate to ramble, so if anyone has any tips, tricks, or kind words for the weary.. OR, if you are near and want to be a buddy???
