I too have not been very faithful about wearing my CPAP since surgery - my setting was 19 and I was afraid of blowing up my new pouch or remnant after surgery - because I usually would wake up bloated from the CPAP before my surgery..... I had a G-tube in my remnant (old stomach) for 6 weeks after surgery to alleviate any pressure build up - but I would have to wear a drain attached to the tube when I would go to bed - needless to say I did that like 2 times.

My wife says I do not snore anymore and it doesnt seem like I stop breathing, but I am sure I should get it checked. I really dont miss wearing it though

My pulmonologist (sp?) said my sleep apnea was severe enough that he doubted any amount of weight loss would totally get rid of it - so I guess I am in denial and avoiding the truth.....
