When your body is scarce of nutrients, calories and fat it goes into hybernation mode. Google that topic and you will see what your dealing with. The best way to break it is to uptake calories for about 3 days then stop and go back to your regular eating pattern, this usually breaks the cycle! Good luck and look up the hybernation theory!
