Protein and hair loss -- myth??
I posted this elsewhere, but thought I'd post again. My surgeon (who is also LisaBoston's surgeon) told me that hair loss is an inevitable and temporary part of the wl process. Rapid weight loss will cause a spell of alopecia. He said it was NOT about protein....but about the weight loss process itself. He said that it's not well understood in medicine, but that it's always temporary and the hair always comes back.
That's the info I have.
