I am much more self-assured now. I found myself volunteering for a committee at work that is making a huge decision in the direction we will go in and I have taken a lead in researching a lot of things. I would not have done that in the past. I flirt more
I smile more. I know what I value in life more than ever since I had to weigh whether or not this surgery was worth risking my life for or not.
