In Sweden the recomendations is 6-8 small meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner with good snacks in between). I think that is better cause of the boodsugar level. It don´t go like a rollercoaster if we eat in a regularly basis (every 2-3 hours) instead of eating with many hours in between.
In my head 3 meals a day is inhuman..

(just my oppinion) I reached my goal with 6-8 meals a day. And sometimes my snacks looks like my lunch.
