I have consulted at least 10 surgeons, and none of them recommend doing this. They all say NOT to drink for 30-45 minutes both BEFORE and AFTER meals. Drinking before fills the pouch, then it doesn't allow you to eat enough. We still need to have a certain amount for food a day to be healthy!
The rest of the post sounds pretty on the nose, except for the 2-3 meals a day.

My doc says 3 meals and day and no more. I asked about 6 small meals, and he responded with "If I want to get the weight off and keep it off, only eat 3 time a day - normal people only need 3 meals a day" He also recommends the water loading after 6 months or at goal, and this is also stated in the Pouch rules for dummies.
