Complications? Only one...I look and feel friggin great!

Actually not true but it sounds good. I had a lap proceedure and when they went in they discovered that I had some adhesion between my pancreas and my stomach that they needed to deal with. They needed to separate the two and in doing so they created a tear in my stomach. My surgeon repaired the tear and then proceeded with the bypass. Because of the extra work that was done, I spent an extra 2 days in the hospital just to make sure I was good to go. Also, that meant that I had to have the NG tube in for 3 days...which really sucked.

Post surgery I really didn't experience any pain. Being an impetuous guy I made all the rookie mistakes...eating to fast, eating too much, eating the wrong things. When I've done those things I've barfed. You get used to it and learn from it. Also, I get dizzy when I stand up, don't know why but I'm getting used to that as well.
