Its an emotional roller coaster after surgery - your emotions take a ride due to trauma, hormonal issues and healing.

You are only a few weeks out my dear, don't be so hard on yourself.

As far as calories, get good foods in and as much liquid as you want. I know the numbers, but don't plan on focusing on them for at least 2 months. I am a week behind you and eating under 500 calories a day....I know I need more, but I am trying to focus on my life, not food.

Food ran my life for too many years. Do you have a nutritionist that you can see or your doctor - maybe they can make suggestions for you.

I agree...the popsicles are the way to go...be lucky that you can buy them...I have to travel over an hour to get mine!
