Default Linda,

From what I know, the pouch never goes back to it's original size. You can out eat/snack and put back on all the weight you've lost if you've learned nothing from your honeymoon period.

If you must have diet pepsi/coke, you can let it stand or put it into the microwave to release all the carbonation. It's the bubbles that cause you heartache. It's just not good for you though for several reasons.

I was hungry during the first, second and third weeks post op. I just drank liquid or ate something like watermellon.

You don't need diet pills! Trust in the surgery. I didn't believe in the surgery in the beginning, I thought, yeah it works for them, but I'll be the one that it won't work on. I'm now a believer. Ya, Ya, Ya, Ya, I'm a believer!

Call your doctor if these concerns continue.
